Midwest USA Fun & Games

Midwest USA Fun & Games
There are so many distractions out there: bills, noisy neighbors, accidents, dating, preparing a meal all day only for it to burn!

I say enough to distractions that bring out the hard parts of ourselves and only push us farther away from happiness and the satisfaction found in our capabilities! It’s time for you to take a break. Relax.

I would say let your mind start to numb but these games are meant to hone and challenge you whether left-brained or right-brained!

I have put energy into these word games because I sincerely enjoy them myself! I think good word quizzes shouldn’t end after elementary school! We need them just as much as our children. The statistics prove it. Roughly 42 million Americans adults can’t read!

What better way to encourage literacy and a decent vocabulary than through fun? Teachers have known that trick for years! Why must it stop for us as adults??

And the selection is a wide one, helping me to draw in each one of you-no matter your vices!

Good, old-fashioned Hangman, for starters! You know the drill! There are enough blank spaces to fit the word you are guessing. You are allowed 10 guesses before you are finished with that round. And the best part-with each wrong guess Mr. Hangman acquires another body part…until his tragic demise.

Then there’s the Word Scramble! For those of you newspaper readers I’m sure you’ve seen this one in your daily chronicle! A word is there-you just have to unravel what it is through moving the letters around. The bonus with this version is you don’t have to have a notepad close by-you can do it on the computer…look at you go-saving trees already.

And to make up for the paper you would’ve use for the Word Scramble we bring you the Word Search! This is a print out word search with Midwestern lingo hiding throughout.

With so many games to challenge you and encourage you-quit reading this and get to work…playing!!
